Mabank Independent School district is located 45 miles southeast of the Dallas Metroplex, the district encompasses 132 square miles that includes Cedar Creek Lake and the cities of Mabank, Gun Barrel, and Seven Points.  Serving more than 3,200 students, the district currently operates three elementary schools, one middle school and one 4A high school.  The district's mission is "to provide a comprehensive, innovative educational program preparing individuals to be successful, responsible citizens."
